The part-time Human Resources Manager supports the comprehensive personnel function of a multi-site, church-related mission to mariners, the Seamen’s Church Institute (SCI). The Human Resources Manager collaborates closely with SCI senior management to assure excellent employee personnel practice and benefits administration. He or she works two full days per week, alternating between SCI’s Port Newark, NJ and Lower Manhattan locations with intermittent remaining hours, if desired, from home. This Exempt position reports to SCI’s President & Executive Director and presumes at least annual travel to each SCI employment site.
