The Seamen’s Church Institute (SCI) is pleased to announce that our 23rd Annual River Bell Awards Luncheon will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the Paducah-McCracken County Convention & Expo Center from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. We hope that you will be able to join us as we celebrate the maritime industry.

Lifesaving Award presented to the crew of the M/V Michael Grainger. Presented by Russ Lampkins, Senior Vice President–Logistics/Customer Service, Ingram Barge Company (left) to the crew of the Michael Grainger: Operations Manager Captain Mike Hughes, Captain Joe Young, and Senior Mate Mike White. Senior Deckhand Jason Lovell was also on watch, but was unable to make the ceremony.
